Internet Paper Postcards
The story
The Yves St. Laurent website enables visitors to request a fragrance card, which carries a product sample and personal message directly to one of their friends. The goals of the Internet Paper Postcard, created by Cardmine™ and Magjak, were to:
- Drive retail store traffic
- Build a global database
- Collect customer demographic data
- Reduce cost-per-customer acquisition

- Print engines: Xerox iGen3® 110 Digital
- Production Press and Heidelberg offset press
- Cover stock: 216 gsmgloss cover (80 lb)
- Finishing: Sheets are cut and a YSL fragrance sample
- is glued to the card; cards are then folded and mailed
